In Ruaha Park, several camps have licenses for night safaris.
These game drives usually start around 9pm, after dinner, and last around 2-3 hours. The main goal of night game drive is to see nocturnal animals such as genet, white-tailed mongoose, bat-eared foxes, hyenas, or even the aardwolf amongst others, who are difficult to spot during the day.
Game drives are led by experienced and trained camp guides accompanied by a park ranger.
