Game drives are without a doubt the fundamental reason of any safari to Tanzania. It may last from a few hours to a full day excursion with a picnic lunch in the bush.
Transfers between parks being by plane, all the game drives we offer are in special fully open safari vehicles (not only an open roof), with driver and/or guide having an in-depth knowledge of their park and its wildlife (and avifauna).
Game drives are usually scheduled early morning and late afternoon, maximizing the chances to meet the animals when they are active. A full day game drive however allows to reach some remote areas to encounter specific species.
